Biography
Bethany grew up in nearby Liverpool, NY and was hired at Utica in May 2011. She has held several positions at the University including work with programs and activities, student organizations, leadership development, wellness and prevention education for the Division of Student Life. Bethany graduated from Syracuse University in 2011 with a Master's Degree in Higher Education and has a Bachelor's Degree from Le Moyne College in Mathematics/Computer Sciences and Secondary/Special Education. She is passionate about helping students navigate their higher education experience and developing relationships with them. She also has a heart in student leadership; she chartered the Utica Chapter of the National Society of Leadership and Success in 2014. Bethany is also the Primary Victims Advocate and a Confidential Resource on campus. She loves cooking and hosting parties, redecorating and renovating, bowling and mini-golfing, road-tripping to beautiful places with husband Jason, son Teddy, and daughter Lucy (name after Lucille Ball), and enjoys country living.
